A workshop on country diagnostics will provide IFIs staff with the opportunity for an exchange of views with other IFIs who have similar products. Mateusz Szczurek, EBRD Lead Economist for Central Europe and the Baltic states, will present the recently published diagnostic for the Slovak Republic, while colleagues from the EIB, the IFC and the World Bank Group will talk about their experiences with similar diagnostic products for Tunisia, Kazakhstan and Serbia, respectively. Representatives from important donors – DfID (UK) and SIDA (Sweden) – will also be on hand to give the donor perspective on the value of diagnostics.
